Sibling, George Fredrick, was born 7 OCT 1844 and died in Nashville, IL 14 FEB 1917. He immigrated in 1881 and it appears the other brother, John (Johannes) stayed in Germany.

Friedrich (Fred) immigrated around 1881 and married Elisabetha Margarethe "Mary" Arnold 22 DEC 1882.

They had four sons: Emil (1883-1928), Frederick (1885-1948), Henry (1886-1952) and Albert "Al" (1889-1966). Margaret died around 1891 and Fred remarried to Bertha Sippel. They had three girls: Lillie (1893-1989), Bertha (1896-1989), Frieda (1902-?) and one son, Otto (1899-1979).

Fred was a member of the IOOF (International Order of Odd Fellows) and worked as a laborer.

Fred died 3 JUL 1937 at the Alton State Hospital in Illinois. His burial was handled by the IOOF and he was buried 06 JUN 1937 at St. Paul's Evangelical Cemetery in Block B.
